SHUT UPPPPPPP. This was so, so, so gooooooood. Like... probably my favorite album of 2025.

This album is such a rewarding listen the whole way through. It wasn't just a collection of songs. It was an album. And a really exceptional one at that.

In the least prententious way possible, I do think that true innovation is hard to find in the music charts today. That's just another reason I appreciate Marcus Brown's inventiveness. Artists like him are direct arguments against people who say there isn't any good music being made today.

The truth is that good music isn't popular anymore because good music pushes you. It moves you. It requires thought and feeling. And our world doesn't necessarily support those things right now. But that doesn't mean it's not being made. It is, and it's this album.
