I saw someone talking about this album on Reddit and decided to check it out. It is a seriously great piece of work. At times, it reminded me of The Smiths, The Beastie Boys, Elliott Smith, Paul McCartney, and even had some guitar moments reminiscent of Santana. It's moody and grounded with a beautiful ethereal tone to it. It employs a huge variety of instruments, matching horns and strings with drum machines and computer production. Super good album that I will definitely be listening to again. One of my favorites I've listened to this year. (7/8/25)
