Fuzzy (1993) — Grant Lee Buffalo

What a hidden gem this album is! It was beautiful, insightful, and very pleasant on the ears. Grant-Lee Phillips' vocals were engrossing, and he has that special ability to convey deep emotions just through the sound of his voice.

The lyrics were haunting and expressive, and when paired with the restrained production, there was a Neil Young like quality to the album. It also reminded me of Tracy Chapman in ways, too. This is definitely a very 90s album in sound and style, but lucky for me that is one of my favorite decades for music!

This was one of those albums that I could tell I was gonna love in the first thirty seconds, and I was right. Just a really lovely, impactful body of work. I will most definitely be returning to this one soon.
