Akvatisk Beredskap (2024) — Aksel & Aino

I really liked one song off this album ("Sisu"), so I decided to listen to the whole thing and was a bit disappointed. It just felt repetitive and one note to me, like it really didn't need to be a full length album at all. The reason I'm not rating it even lower is because I did like each song individually, but when listened to together it just kinda left me feeling nothing.

I think this album is an example of the limitations on relying on technical skill because there didn't seem to be an actual vision. It was cute, fun background music at best. I do really like the album cover though! Shame that it's probably the most interesting part of the whole thing...
